TabLock is a browser extension that helps you block distracting websites during timed focus sessions. It is designed to work entirely on your device. No accounts, no servers, no tracking.
What TabLock stores
TabLock stores the following data locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser.
- Your list of blocked websites
- Active focus session state (start time, end time, planned duration)
- Optional commitment text entered before a session
- Focus time history and session counts, grouped by day (kept for up to 60 days)
- Recently removed blocked sites (up to 7 entries, for convenience)
What TabLock does not do
- Does not require an account or sign-in
- Does not collect or transmit personal information
- Does not send your browsing history, blocked sites, or focus stats to any server
- Does not use third-party analytics or tracking scripts
- Does not show ads
- Does not sell, share, or monetize user data in any way
- Does not sync data to the cloud
